How far is Chinese Enterprise from "made in China 2025"

How long will it take to leap from the world's largest manufacturing power to a manufacturing power? The war blueprint and upgrade schedule outlined in "made in China 2025", published in May this year, will take only 10 years. In the document known as the Chinese version 4.0, China will compete to become a manufacturing power within a decade and one of the leading manufacturing powers in the world when it was founded 100 years ago. Now it has been on the market for several months. But for many manufacturing companies that have just completed automation, intelligent manufacturing is just a vision, a roadblock and a long one.

Strong interest but insufficient understanding

There are a lot of customers who are interested, they have this need and they have a budget, but the problem now is that they don't have a clear understanding of their needs, and we need to spend a lot of time helping them out. It is a complicated process how the current situation, what problems can be asked, and where to start the development of the factory. At the 2015 Shanghai International Automobile Manufacturing Technology and equipment and Materials Exhibition held recently, Zhang Xin, general manager of Yi Ke (Tianjin) Electronics Co., Ltd., admitted to the paperboard news that compared with the German enterprises, the upgrading target is clear. Although many domestic enterprises are very interested in industrial 4.0 and intelligent manufacturing, they often do not understand the profound meaning of these words. Enterprises such as FAW Volkswagen can clearly list the demand, but many customers are not clear about the demand. Even whether a requirement can be met is still a question mark.

Just as made in China 2025 is often seen as mirrored by German industry 4.0, so does the burgeoning concept of a smart factory in China. Typical examples are the Amberg electronics plant set up at home by Siemens, a leading German industrial leader, and the Amberg sister factory in Chengdu, Sichuan Province. In the German Industrial 4.0 Strategy report, smart factories mean that human machines and resources can communicate with each other, as naturally as in social networks, where smart products know the details of how they are made and what they are used for.

From Siemens digital factory stream of visitors can be seen that domestic enterprises are very interested in energy plants. Zhang Xin is as optimistic about the business, and not a few, intelligent manufacturing, industry 4.0 is the key words they shared in the introduction, and its concept of intellectual factory dismantling, and Siemens and other German enterprises are very similar

According to Zhang Xin, listed companies, large state-owned enterprises or industry leaders tend to have a stronger desire for intelligent manufacturing. But there are a lot of traditional enterprises, probably between 2.0 and 3.0, and now they're going to do 4.0, and that's a big span.

What is the driving force of investment?

Bosch Rexroth is an active participant in the German Industrial 4.0 project in addition to Siemens. According to Liu Tianpeng, vice president of sales in Bosch's China plant automation division, Germany's Industrial 4.0 does not have the same coverage as made in China 2025, which is broader in scope. German industry 4. 0 pays attention to the design and upgrading of the whole industrial chain. The Chinese made in 2025 put forward only one of the links of industrial 4. 0: intelligent manufacturing in the factory

Before I went to see customers, a lot of people would confuse automation with industry 4.0. these are actually two concepts. Made in China 2025 does not represent a high degree of automation. Industry 4.0 integrates processes and reduces costs on the basis of a certain level of automated manufacturing. How to better integrate people into production lines is the key, Liu said. This is also the key to industry 4.0. The core is man, not machine. For companies that still linger in manufacturing 2.0, it may take 3-5 years to change their minds and another 3-5 years to upgrade their devices.

Chinese companies are still in the process of digesting the idea of intelligent manufacturing, as well as Linderman from Germany. At present, Chinese customers have not put forward to us the products of Germany's T Industry 4.0. I still have to stop at the stage of the management level of the enterprise. In the next five years, the company will slowly extend from the management level to the production segment of the products. TCL (China) Co., Ltd. sales deputy general manager Lin de quantity (Markus Lindemann) at the aforementioned exhibition told the news. The parent company of the company is the largest laser company in the world and Linde has been stationed in Shanghai for five years to develop the Chinese market.

Talking about five years of experience in China, Linderman said: I think the customers in China have not changed, it has changed to Germany. Chinese customers, for example, value prices so much that sometimes they don't carefully study the configuration and sophistication of the machine when comparing two competitors. When you see two prices, you pick the cheaper one. After several years of sales experience in China, the thinking of German companies has also changed. Since you value price, we can also offer you the cheapest price, but this price corresponds to the most basic configuration. This strategy ushered in the Chinese market, and after several years of development, it proved to be very successful.
